Pro-invest Group is creating more employment opportunities for people with disability under a partnership with Max Employment.
Pro-invest’s Deputy Chair and CEO APAC Jan Smits, said the group will lean on the expertise of Max Employment – one of the largest providers of employment services in Australia – to identify suitable candidates for roles across its hotel network.
“We believe a diverse workplace is a better workplace for all and with 18% of Australians living with a disability of some sort, we hope this program will enable us to better address the needs of our guests who are differently abled,” Smits said.
Max Employment Managing Director, Darren Hooper, said the partnership means positive outcomes for everyone involved.
“As Australia’s leading independent hotel operator, Pro-invest Group shares our mission to empower people with disabilities to achieve their employment goals,” said Hooper.
“We applaud them on this initiative, which will enable Pro-invest to find the best possible candidate for a wide range of jobs and will also make guests who have a disability feel more welcome.”
The partnership – part of Pro-invest Group’s CARE (Creating Accessible Roles & Experiences) Program – is an extension of the group’s commitment to diversity and inclusion across the industry.
“We are deeply committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and opportunity for everyone, and to ensuring that our teams reflect the rich diversity of our guests and partners,” said Pro-invest Group General Counsel, Anthony Ursino.
“Our ESG ethos is brought to life by our ‘One Earth, Countless Experiences’ ethos, which ensures that social responsibility is deeply embedded in every part of our business.”
