On November 28, 2024, Maldives Inflight Catering Pvt Ltd (MIC) welcomed Grade 10 BTEC Hospitality students from Thoddoo School for an educational visit, offering them a rare behind-the-scenes look at the nation’s premier inflight catering facility. As the sole provider of catering services for commercial flights and private jets in the Maldives, MIC plays a vital role in the country’s aviation and hospitality industries.

The visit underscored MIC’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational partnerships and inspiring the next generation of hospitality professionals.

Students explored the intricate operations involved in inflight catering, gaining firsthand insights into key areas such as menu planning, food preparation, packaging, and logistics. This practical exposure complemented their academic studies, providing a holistic understanding of the industry.
