A retail platform designed to enhance the shopping experience within short-term rentals and boutique hotels, Minoan facilitates owners/managers buying from 200+ brands (west elm, wayfair, Crate&Barrel, etc) at steep discounts while turning their properties into a shoppable experience for guests. This centralized ordering system setup helps hosts save money. The platform includes a feature called Minoan Showroom, which enables visitors to scan QR codes that takes them directly to purchase.
What we like: Beyond the obvious win of making it easy for guests to purchase items they love for their own homes, Minoan’s value-add raises the bar on furniture and decor across the board. Amenities become an expense landlords are willing to make because they can share in the upside if/when guests are compelled to buy the items they experience while staying in their properties. No longer are tech-enabled operators the only ones with an incentive to use high-quality items in their units.
