Well, my family and I are sailing on the MSC Seashore August 1-4, 2024 from Port Canaveral to Nassau and Ocean Cay.
Unfortunately for the last few days, Weather.com and other media have been mentioning a tropical disturbance moving towards the Bahamas.
On one hand, I’m very happy it’s not a tropical storm or a named hurricane, but I’m frustrated about the lack of clarity regarding this disturbance.
I’ve been checking the weather forecast for both Nassau and Ocean Cay and rain seems to be a factor for those interested in a shore excursion or enjoying a beach day at Ocean Cay.
The good news is that I’m not seeing 40 ft seas and 30 mph winds on the marine forecast!
