Just Back…
Unfortunately, I am not like one of theses YouTube stars who cruises every week and posts a review/video blog to match, each week. If somebody can tell me how to achieve this, without robbing a bank, please let me know.
I don’t actually get to cruise very often. However, I’m just back from two cruises. Yes, not one cruise, but two! They were not actually back-to-back cruises, but one week apart.
For this special treat, I picked two VERY different ships and two VERY different cruise lines.
The first cruise was a crossing to New York onboard Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 (formal). I have actually cruised on the QM2 before in 2004, during her maiden season. I always said that I would cruise on her again, but I did not expect TWENTY years to elapse!
In 2004, I would have said that the QM2 was my favourite ship, but have my thoughts changed in two decades? You will have to wait to find out, because I’ve not written my new QM2 review yet. (Here is my ORIGINAL review)
My second cruise was around the Hawaiian Islands, onboard NCL’s ‘Pride of America’ (informal). This is a unique ship offering a unique itinerary. However, many online reviews (mainly from American passengers) describe their experience as very mediocre. However, did I agree from a British perspective?
