IHCL Expands Portfolio with New Rajasthan Hotel, Raajsa

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of its new resort, Raajsa, Kumbhalgarh – IHCL SeleQtions, in Rajasthan. Situated at the base of the Aravalli range, the resort blends traditional heritage and modern luxury.

The company’s CEO, Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, expressed his delight at adding the new property to IHCL’s growing list of hotels in Rajasthan, where the company has operated for over 50 years.

The resort, located near the renowned Kumbhalgarh Fort, features 175 rooms and offers stunning views of the Aravali hills and the tranquil Lakhela Lake. The property is built in a traditional Rajasthani fort style, with a picturesque courtyard at its center.

Guests at Raajsa, Kumbhalgarh – IHCL SeleQtions can enjoy a variety of culinary delights at Pangat, a multi-cuisine restaurant serving vegetarian Asian and Indian dishes, and Aakhali, a lounge and coffee shop. The resort also features an outdoor pool.

The resort’s exceptional banquet spaces allow it to host a wide range of events. These include the expansive, pillar-less Darbar Hall, ideal for large celebrations, and Darikhana and Choupal, perfect for smaller conferences and gatherings.

Mr. Dilip Nair, the resort’s general manager, stated that Raajsa, Kumbhalgarh, aims to offer guests a unique stay steeped in the royal charm and hospitality of Rajasthan.

The surrounding area of Kumbhalgarh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its large fort, home to numerous temples, palaces, and other historical structures.

With the addition of Raajsa, Kumbhalgarh – IHCL SeleQtions, IHCL now operates 29 hotels in Rajasthan, with eight more under development.
